Description
These books are a wonderful way for parents to be able to sit down with their children and discuss conflicts and solutions when emotions aren't high. They are written in a way that leaves plenty of room for parents to insert their own wisdom and talk about specifics with their children. It's another voice that echoes the lessons you want your children to learn and offer them a glimpse at the behaviors you want them to avoid --or discontinue!

Each story is told from the perspective of the child and expresses the frustration when dealing with the temptation to be bad, lash out or act in an unacceptable manner. They open up room for discussion and the illustrations are often humorous. Additionally, I found that the books are laced with opportunities for children to consider how a child might feel when subjected to another child's bad behavior, helping introduce the concept of empathy. Because the books are small, the topics aren't overwhelming or treated in a complicated way. Instead, each behavior is presented in a basic way that children can easily comprehend and recall later. - from Amzon
